Rip Off

I purchased the Deluxe version because I have additional forms and I get State included. Then when you go to transmit, I am asked for $25 to transmit State (Illinois)

Rip Off

You get one free state program download with the Deluxe desktop edition.  That does not include a free state e-file.

The current state e-file charge is $25.  There has been a state e-file charge when using the desktop editions for at least the last 20 years.

To avoid this charge the state return can be printed and mailed.
