Reviewing my 2018 Form 1040 before filing it and I don't see line 37 for AGI. Why is it not there? It ends at line 36. So, where is the line for AGi?

I'm Answering my own question here. I called the IRS and they did not know but kept looking on Google and finally found the answer. The AGi is now on line 7 and there is no longer a line 37. I just did not see it before but amazing that the IRS agent did not know.

Why do you 2018 AGI?  Yes that is the NEW postcard size 1040.  Under the new tax laws, there are no more simple Form 1040EZ or 1040A's.  Everything goes on a little Form 1040 that has six extra "schedules" with it.

The new 1040 is 2 half pages but now print on 1 sheet with the Signature line in the Middle.

The AGI and total income is now on line 7.  Standard Deduction is line 8.  Taxable income is on line 10 and Tax on line 11.

And the new 1040 ends at line 23.  What form were you looking at that goes to line 36?
