Hi,
I imported my 1099 from TD Ameritrade. everything seems to go fine with import. During the review Turbo Tax (Delux) says - "we found 392 area on your return where we will need to review your entries. we will handle them one by one". when I press check entries: it brings the 1099-B entries and asks for entering the holding period. it would be nightmare to go over all entries. Any help/suggestion would be highly appreciated.
thanks,

Sometimes the import from different brokers doesn't contain all of the information that TurboTax needs - or contains too much, zeroes in places that the program needs to be blank, for instance. In those cases you can go through all of the entries and fix them or you can enter the summary totals and attach the 1099-B. I recommend that. It is a lot faster and more efficient.
Thanks Robert. I agree but there has to be a better way than entering 290+ entries manually. I was able to enter it correctly last year. I need to figure out how to contact TurboTax rep over the phone. Does anyone know the number to call in US? thanks
If you summarize your transactions, as @RobertB4444 suggests, you will only need to enter two lines into TurboTax.
