Return won't e-file

I've completed my returns using 2019 turbo tax deluxe, but it won't transmit my returns. It tells me there are updates, but when I follow those instructions it says I'm up to date.  Still won't transmit.  It tells me again that there is an update.  I seem to be stuck.  What do I do now?

Hi Nancy,

 

Can you tell me if you're using the Desktop (CD/Download) platform, or the Online (web-based) platform, please.  Also, are you filing a state return?  If so, what state?  Thanks.

I am sorry you are having problems with your computer, try this: 

  1. Close TurboTax,
  2. Do a disk cleanup and
  3. Restart your computer,
  4. Reopen TurboTax.
