Retirement Plan start year after gap

I am in a qualified pension plan, from which I received payments for several years.  I then returned to work for that employer, which stopped the pension payments for three years.  In 2020 I retired again and now get payments from the same plan.  Do I still check the box for starting payments from the plan in a previous year?

And if you used the simplified method before you will need the simplified worksheet form the last tax return that the pension was on to get the numbers to enter that might need to be modified if there are new contributions to the plan after you resumed work.
