Requirement for having a driver's license

I only have a federal return and am not required to file a state return for Florida.  At the end of my filing, I am asked to enter my Driver's License or State ID.  I am Ok for 2024 but next year I will have neither one.

because my license will have expired. In order to get one I would have to fly round trip 19,500 miles which I will not do. What can I do, especially without having to file a state return?  There is  one selection for I don't have either" but I don't know how that works.

You are not required to enter a drivers license in order to e-file a federal tax return.   Entering it adds a measure of security, but it is not required; you can skip entering it.   And you do not have a "picky" state that might cause a problem since you are in FL with no state income tax.
