Reporting RRSP ON 8938

I am trying to add my Canadian RRSP to my 8938 and running into a problem. Turbo tax is not letting me proceed without filling out lines 35 which I don 't believe applies as it is an account that I am listing not a partnership, corporation, trust or estate.

Yes, line 35 is to report a Foreign Trust and a RRSP is an entity that matches the IRS definition of a Foreign Trust.

Thanks. Do I fill in a name of Foreign Entity and Mailing address? Turbotax isn't letting me file until these are filled but I'm not sure that is correct. I already listed the name of institution where the account is maintained and its address on lines 26 and 27.

Yes, you will need to enter this information on line 35 to pass the error check in the review.
