Remove turbotax self employed

I added this add on thinking i needed it based on the fact that i had a 1099-misc. However, after it was added, the system made me aware that i need to enter this information later as it was just a rental property. The "Self Employed" section is still unused on my return, but i'm not able to remove this addition from my return.  At the end when it's ready to file, it's still trying to charge me for it and not allowing me to remove it.  Any suggestions?

Yes. Assuming you have not already paid for TurboTax, you have two options when you want to choose a more simple version of Turbo Tax Online.

First, you can clear your input and start over.  You will only want to do this if you have not already entered a lot of tax information into the program because when you use this feature you lose any previous input.  See below for directions.

Second, if you have input a lot of tax information already, you may want to click here and contact Turbo Tax support.  Depending on the circumstances, they may be able to assist you in changing the Turbo Tax version while retaining the information you have already input.

Here are the steps for the clear and start over function if you choose that option:

1)      Open your tax return

2)      In the top right, find My Account and click on the drop down arrow next to it

3)      Choose Clear and Start Over
