how do I fix EIN error?

The EIN is the Employer's Identification Number.  Check your W-2s.  There should be a 9 digit number on them that looks like this - 11-1111111.  When you find that number compare it to the one on the TurboTax software and make sure you entered it exactly as it is on the W2.  If not then fix it so it matches the W-2 that you received from your employer.

If all of the W-2s that you entered in the computer have a number that is exactly like the one on the form you got and you are still being rejected then you will need to contact your employer(s) to find out if the number on your W-2 is correct.

If none of that produces a satisfactory result you may have to mail in your return this year.
