In 1987 i was in the city of dixon ill. where i purschased several stocks. thru a brokerage. in 1989 i left and returned home to chicago il. all my other stock followed me to my home address but one . warner- lambert. This stock stayed hidden for 34 year being sent to the wrong address. until in feb of 2022 i saw a ill unclaimed
message on the news and decided to try it. And i did, the company now pfizer inc sent three claims to the state of ill. 1 a divided check, 2 unexchanged shares of successor corp, and a settlement check.
What happened to my investment, and how do i get it back. both companies did exceptional well. and i have been excluded fron stock splits, merges, and dividends.
what procedures do i use to get my invest back.

That is a complicated question. IMHO, too complicated for a forum like this.
I would highly recommend seeking advice from an attorney that works with investments or a CPA. In lieu of that, I suppose you could try contacting the IL Secretary of State's office...securities department
https://www.ilsos.gov/departments/securities/abtil.html
thank you I did and they made them reinstate it . Now is the the recovery of assets, 30 years, 3 mergers, with stock splits, dividend reinvestment, and three class action law suits where i am listed as a claimant, and show my address on there record, but escheated.
thanks
