No, you won't automatically get the second stimulus check. If you're entitled to the second stimulus payment, you'll need to file a 2020 income tax return to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit .

I did not work in 2019 or 2020. It says I qualify for the second check. I got the first one with no problem ..how do I file taxes if I didn't work ? Thank you for your answer
