You forgot to mention the cost is $39.99, marked down to $29.99 a year.
Thanks for the option though.
Would just like to reiterate how it feels to have another company jumping ship after supporting its numerous clients for many years. It is similar to having old neighbors move away, doctors one has dealt with for many years to retire, could go on - INTUIT is just another company leaving us (your customers that rely on you) in the dark.
I wish TurboTax would discontinue It’s Deductible after this tax year. It’s a slap in the face to every person who has spent hours entering information into the system all year. Now we can’t transfer the info into our tax returns and must re-enter everything. I’m disappointed in Intuit’s lack of consideration for their customers.
I will do this as well. I no longer trust Intuit.
I have received SEVERAL supporting statements from long time Turbotax users. I can only HOPE some from Intuit sees this support and reverses a bad decision. Thanks to all that have joined it with their support and imput.
I have seen a couple of posts about using another tool "Duckductible"?? And while I am glad there is an alternative, I don't relish paying an additional $30 or more for something that has been a part of Turbotax for years, and as I hear, something similar may be in one or more Turbotax alternatives.
Anyway, it will cost me more this year (buying Turbotax and I think H&R Block) to do the parallel input and evaluation, I am hoping the costs and effort will be worth it.
If this discussion topic is still open early next year, I will update with my results.
Intuit are real sumbitches for killing off this product. Also a 20+ year TT customer here that is now "looking around" for a wholelistic ecosystem that can support my tax needs, which means more work for me to even conduct the search. Take your apologies for the inconvenience and shove it, Intuit.

Perhaps some other consumer-level income tax prep software developers (e.g., H&R Block, TaxAct) offer some type of valuation feature for non-cash donations but none offer a program like ItsDeductible that tracks donations throughout the tax year.

Not a whole lot of looking needed. There are only two installed (i.e., not online) consumer-level income tax prep programs; H&R Block and TaxAct.
I did not get my its deductible history downloaded. I have used it for years and had about $5000 in donations entered for 2025. Please help me to at least be able to download the donations history. [email address removed] It is a great program and would love it if you kept it or at least extended it to the end of 2025 Thank you Sheryl
Please help me to at least download the Its deductible history and the 2025 deductions that we had already entered this year. [email address removed]
After repeated missteps in communication, Intuit’s decision to abruptly decommission ItsDeductible has left many of us stunned and disheartened. Receiving a generic card in the mail and an impersonal email survey felt like a hollow gesture—an attempt at sympathy without substance, especially given the gravity of what was being taken away.
Frankly, I’m beyond disappointed. There was no meaningful follow-through on Intuit’s stated intent to make things right. Instead of offering a bridge to the 2025 tax year, the app was shut down prematurely—catching users off guard who, based on multiple sources, believed they had until midnight tonight to export their data. The cutoff being yesterday only adds to the confusion and frustration.
It’s hard to imagine this wasn’t a deliberate decision, and if so, it reflects a troubling disregard for long-time customers who relied on this tool year after year. The silence from “The Office of the President” and the ItsDeductible Decision Team is deafening.
TurboTax, do the right thing. Speak to this community. If the decision is final, so be it—but communicate it clearly, respectfully, and with accountability. Many of us are still holding out hope that Intuit will choose to honor its legacy and its users, even if we are now a dwindling few.
Reopened until Sunday (10/26).

Precisely! I think this was an unconscionable thing to do. No reason given. No work around given. No real apology given. Just saying it'll be gone on October 21st. I would still hate the action they took, but if they had at least waited until the TurboTax 2025 had come out, I would accept it because it worked seamlessly before. This just makes them look like a bad business to deal with. I'd like to see an apology that really looks like an apology along with concrete work-around information. (Or maybe it conflicts with the Big Beautiful Bill?????)
Ditto that!
