I've been using It's Deductible (and TurboTax) for more than a decade.
Why also did they decice to cancel it in October vs. December 31st? It will be useless to those of us who used it all during 2025!
20+ year user who will be looking elsewhere for a tax preparation program this tax season. I have used It’sDeductible since its release as well and it is invaluable. Having to go back to manually tracking and valuing donation items for 4 taxpayers will take we a huge amount of hours!! Prices keep going up and service/value keeps going down. Guess they do not care if they loose customers.
I am also a longtime user over 20 years. Planning to switch to HR Block which has deduction pro software. Guess Intuit will lose out on my software purchase plus multiple state downloads and efiles I purchase every year.
They apparently dont realise how important the convience value is that this adds for the users that itemize and are the ones buying their more advanced and expensive products.
Agree with everything said. Seems like they are trying to lose customers. This is a useful tool - what's the point of discontinuing after listening to customers last time?
Been using It's Deductible for years. Why are they doing this AGAIN! They had such an outcry the previous year they did this they had to reinstate it. Clearly by a product manager who does not listen to customer focus. I have often wondered when we would be forced to find another tax preparation solution. This product is a god send when you have a lot of donations for the year. Why discontinue it in October, like another said. Seems like the motivation is to movethe customer base to another program or competitor.
This has become a yearly spit-in-the-face by Intuit to longtime, PAYING customers. It’s Deductible has been a critical part of TurboTax for years. This “final” discontinuation of It’s Deductible shows either Intuit’s complete disloyalty to its customers or shortsighted greed (“Hey, we can save a few bucks by ending the service. What are customers gonna do about it?”). It is offensive and unacceptable. Consumers are fed up with greedy and/or incompetent companies continually shrinking their products’ functionality — but NEVER lowering their prices. If Intuit is this short-sighted, user-unfriendly and/or incompetent, I am done with TurboTax (after 20+ years) and will encourage my CPA to stop using it as well. There are plenty of worthy competitors that don’t treat their customers like trash. Shame on Intuit — and bye-bye, TurboTax!
Why are you doing this again, Intuit?
I would pay for this tool.
I would also pay for this tool! It can be an add-on to the software purchase. 👍

With sincere apologies,
Agree with all comments. Have been a paying user of turbotax for 20+ years and will be lcancelling my turbotax advantage account due to the It's Deductible decision. The decision to do it mid-year is a slap in a face to users!
Intuit must be borrowing their business philosophy from Cracker Barrell. Only reason I still use TurboTax is the ItsDeductable side of it.
I agree the reason I use TT is because I can import my info from Its Deductible. Time to start shopping
Can we start compiling replacement options (including partial replacement -> moving away from ItsDeductible) to full replacement -> moving away from TurboTax.
I would love to hear how TaxAct and HRBlock stacks up, what version do we need to purchase to use the add-on and whether its live and working. Please confirm recent usage-> to ensure they still support this feature.
