Why am I being charge for using turbo tax if it’s suppose to be free

You indicated that you are using TurboTax Deluxe Online. TurboTax Deluxe is not free. Only TurboTax Free Edition or IRS Free File is free.

Since I didn’t have a choice to the free version I won’t be using TurboTax ever again .

You are able to begin your tax return using TurboTax Free Edition, but if you do not qualify for it, you will be prompted to upgrade.
