When will the 2021 8915-f form be available on Turbo Tax to efile?

Form 8915-F will be available on March 24, 2022.

This is bull. Why is it taking so long for this form? And they were happy to take my money and now hold my returns hostage as we wait. What a scam. Knowing full well that we need the form to complete our return, yet collecting payment from us in order to lock us in. Ridiculous. I will be making sure I have downloaded all my returns from previous years and take my business elsewhere next year.

And could you please tell us the Specific Date of form 8915-F as to Why and the Reason this form is not yet available...?!

Now the 24th, how long do we need to wait. Of course if that's even accurate. This is as absurd as last year. I've been with TT for years but these last two have really shown me its time to move on. Now from all the delays I'm also going to loose out in my 30 dollar discount. Thanks alot..

@EbonyA  UPDATE: I filed through FreeTaxUSA last Friday and the IRS where’s my refund says I will have my refund deposited this Friday. Only 7 days it took from filing to deposit. TurboTax sucks the biggest [removed] and I hope you all go elsewhere to file. They had 8915 F a month ago. [removed] these [removed] at Turbo Tax!!!! Go [removed] yourselves TT ✌️

Sure, @joeyd2's message is a little profane, but I think we all feel the essence of his frustration with TurboTax.  He just likely has a limited vocabulary to express himself.  But I think he gets the point across.  We all have different comfort levels with profanity.  I'm a doctor with a decent vocabulary and still feel like writing a comment with a thousand FU's to TurboTax.  So @joeyd2, you be you.

Why is it taking TurboTax three months to have the electronic form 8915-F ready that is needed to pay my taxes on the IRA money I took out in 2020 as a result of the CARES act? This isn't Rocket Science. I would also want to note the form 8915-F replaces the 8915-E form for 2021 tax filings as stated on the official IRS form 8915-F. Those who go to the 8915-E for Tax Year 2021 get a page not found with no reference to the 8915-F.

Seems like the main issue people don't understand here is that you are using/paying for a service from a private company. TT is here to help you complete YOUR taxes to submit to the IRS. I understand the frustration of the form not being available yet however the physical form is available for you to go get your taxes done elsewhere or even do on your own if you are that desperate.

Other tax services have the form available however some of us have complicated tax situations. My 2020 return was 172 pages long. This year will be even longer. I will happily wait for TT to have the form available to keep all my documentation in the same spot.

@drwho4u Yeah it's not ready.  I don't even try to do TurboTax until all the forms I need are avaiable.  It is just more frustrating otherwise.

I tried other Tax Services online and CD Version  at the end they all told me to print return and mail or go to office to finish (HR Block). Can’t Efile yet the other ones are attaching pdf to form and hoping there are not any changes to form before 3/24/22 when IRS Approve Efile.

@Anonymous oh yeah? I purchased TT to do my taxes like i have done for 20 years. They are incompetent and cant even get sh&t right. I don't care about your feelings, or if the word F&ck bothers you. I am extremely upset that I had to wait just like just about every other person on this thread. TT gives vague info if you even can get in touch with them. Like I said, TT can go F*ck themselves! have a blessed day lol
