The question is: when TurboTax is going to release the software update? Can you answer that question?

The software is scheduled to be updated on 03/19 to include the unemployment compensation exclusion.

Thanks. This is exactly the info I was looking for.

I just opened the program a few minutes ago and you immediately get a notification to update if there is one. There was one this morning.

The problem is that they don't tell you what these updates are. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place?

This Q&A said it was updated 3 minutes ago and when I went in to find my answer, it has not been updated. It still has they are waiting to see if it is passed. Please don't treat your customers like this? We are looking for real answers, not an answer to file your taxes with incorrect information on them!

The software will be updated on 03/19 to include the unemployment compensation exclusion for the online editions.

There was a software update today, 03/18, for the desktop editions to include the exclusion.

i have the desktop version, there was an update today but the unemployment exclusion was not there

it can be manually updated previously, i had done that to try it out a few days ago. but not through step by step guide, on line 8 you need to type it the way the irs published turbotax isnt doing it that way yet
