I tried on 2/19/22: The Sch NJ-DOP shows available but it does not work in the online version. Even after closing out turbotax - using chrome browser - clearing browser cache and cookies - deleting the NJ return and starting over again it still states: This form may require an adjustment that has not been finalized for this release. You must obtain an update before you file your return. I have tried the chat feature twice and have not got a date when it should be fixed. Only check back in about a week. The NJ forms are delayed.
Same Here - still not working.
I'm having the same issue and yes, getting the same response from their so-called experts. If im paying all this money and they can't help us with the one and only question I have, what's the point. Every year I get more annoyed with turbo tax
Just spoke to them again, the rep says yheir is a investigation into this update issue, also why I can't file my federal without having to click on "file my NJ state by mail" button in order to proceed. I'll luk if I get any info
Any updates on this will be greatly appreciated. Running into the same NJ-DOP Line 4 Problem when it all seems to add up.
Same here
I am also still having this issue as of 2/21 and since I already paid for both State and Federal e-file it won't let me just file Federal by itself for now. Updates on this would be very much appreciated.
There will never be a fix. Turbo tax can’t or won’t fix the issue. You have to basically redo your federal return by just putting in the totals from your 1099s instead of importing them. Then the state form will populate correctly.
That might very well be true, can't say they will or won't. To me, it's easier to just mail in my state and correct whatever calculations they messed up. I will give turbo tax a little time to correct it.
Just a heads up, not only did they tell me they can't fix the NJ DOP form, also the server problem issue when trying to send your federal taxes has no hope if being fixed. I wentvto HR Block, so far works the same as Turbo. GL to you all, after all those headaches and 8 year's of using TT, I'm gone.
**bleep**. Really don't feel like re-doing my federal, so I will probably just file federal now and paper-file state later, if that is even an option. Will give it to the end of the week I guess. Let me know how HR Block is. Now I know to change for next year.
Is there any update on NJ tax dept, accepting the changes to the NJDOP form? It is highly annoying that we cannot file the state return, and that this issue keeps getting marked as resolved due to turbo tax editing the form. Until NJ accepts the tax form this should not be resolved.
I spoke to a representative at Turbo Tax this morning and was told they expect to have the NJ-DOP form available by March 3.

If the federal forms are all finalized and it is ready to e-file, you can choose to file just the federal return at this time, then come back when your state forms are ready and e-file that return.
Note, if you don't e-file them together, you do have to wait until the federal is accepted before you can e-file the state. Sometimes this takes a day or even two.
Here is a TurboTax Help article with directions for when you return to file your state return.
