In the past, the State forms get sent to the state within a few hours AFTER the IRS "Accepts" your Federal tax return...then the state accepts or rejects within ~24-48 hrs after that.

IF the IRS Rejects your file, then the state isn't sent in at all since Fed acceptance is a required step.

How can I pay if I live overseas? I've tried paying with my federal return but it was rejected because I have a foreign address and my foreign credit card isn't accepted.
