If you have any self employment expenses to enter you will need to use the Self Employed version wihich will cover both W2 and 1099 income.

You can enter Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe or Premier but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Self Employed version. Or use any of the Desktop CD/Download programs. How to enter income from Self Employment

If you had contractor income, and have expenses related to that income to deduct, you need TurboTax Self-Employed if you are using the Online version.  If you don't have business expenses to report, you can start in Deluxe, and if required you can upgrade while working on your return.  If you want to use the Desktop program, all versions have the forms you need, but if you want the step by step help, you will need to use Home and Business.
