I filed head of household last year and I’m not married

You don't have to be married to file as Head of Household.  You can qualify for Head of Household if you:

1. Were unmarried as of December 31, 2024 and
2. Paid more than half the cost to run your (or a qualifying parent's) home this year (rent, mortgage, utilities, etc.) and
3. Supported a qualifying person.

If you do not have a qualified person as a dependent on your tax return you are not eligible for Head of Household filing status.
