How will UI income (in the state of Oregon) be taxed?

Unemployment Income is taxable on the Federal return plus some of the states, not all, also tax Unemployment Income. As for Oregon, "Any unemployment benefits you receive are fully taxable if you are required to file a tax return." What that means is, if your total income is above the filing requirements, then your unemployment income will be taxable in your Oregon State.

Hope this helps.
It does, thank you. During 2021 I've elected to have my UI taxed, so this income has been taxed all along. What, if any, difference could this make?
so that's great that you had the federal and state taxes taken out from your Unemployment Income in the current year 2021. Now when you file your 2021 tax return, then it will all be calculated and if your total income tax paid is higher than your total tax liability, then you will get a refund.
