Turbotax is asking if we have any capital losses carried over from 2018-I don't recall.Wouldn't TT automatically carryover any losses?Used TT since 2010.What2answer?YorN?

In prior years, depending on what one initially answered, subsequent webpages were/were not shown to the user, and it could be difficult to get to the correct input page down the road. TT - pls ask or see in future versions if people have used you in the prior year to submit their taxes, and if yes, please don't ask them questions that you should have in their file.

Wrong.  Thre is no way for TT to know if you filed an amended return not using TT.   even if you use TT to prepare an amended return TT has no way of knowing that the amended return was actually filed since it must be mailed.  There are other possibilities that could result in the CLCO being different for 2019 than what was on the 2018 return.
