Trying to install Turbo Tax 2023 on Windows 10 (installation download 11/22/2023). I've tried most of the steps posted to correct the issue with no success. The last attempt resulted in a timeout error, which was odd (it ran over night). I've tried an installation file from 11/1/2023 which installed on Windows 11 after multiple tries and errors reported as to not having a proper digital signature but would not install on Windows 10 with the same hanging issue. Interestingly the Microsoft Visual C++ is also hanging and not installation (recommended in one of the posts as being necessary to install since the installer does not include).

I wonder if this is a similar issue.
See Why didn't TurboTax 2023 uninstall when asked to by the program? (intuit.com)
I'll page @dmertz
Given that the installer for the Virtual C++ redistributable package is having problems, this might indicate a corrupted Windows installation. It might be worth running Microsoft's DISM and then SFC to check for corruption of the Windows installation:

Eventually Virtual C++ installed, it tool a couple of hours though. Attempted to install Turbo Tax again. Turbo Tax installed after several hours and multiple installer not responding messages. Clicked on retry each time and tin installation progressed further each time until it completed on the third retry. The update went smoothly with no issues. Able to start processing with the import of 2022 with no issues. I had not run the DSIM or SFC. I'll give that a try later when I have a little time. Thank you for the links.
Turbo Tax 2023 did install successfully. Of note though, DSIM and SFC found no issues with the Windows installation.
I should also mention that the Software Update process is being blocked by Norton 360 due to an Invalid Digtal Signature. I've not configured Norton to allow this through automatically since the Digital Signature should be valid. This is on a Windows 11 installation. I've manually downloaded the update and will patch to see if the issue is resolved.
