Tax Year Prior to 2020: Turbo Card and Coronavirus Stimulus

Your so wrong! Look at your tax return and you have the EXACT routing and account number of the turbo card! It will be put on that card no problem. Why do you morons keep saying they won't?! You get your info from stupid bs sources and/or your own demented minds!

Take it easy @@Urban, people have the right to worry and want an exact answer. If you have valid sources of info, please post it for others who would appreciate the knowledge that you may have. For all others this is a post that I have in another forum "I was told by a turbo tax specialist today 04/04/2020 that you will receive your stimulus package to your turbo card if you have chosen to get your 2018/19 federal tax return to that card." I hope you all find the answers you are looking for. Stay healthy🙂

According to the IRS website at this link, you should follow the instructions on this IRS Topic No. 157 Change Your Address website to change the your address information.

Also, according to that same IRS Economic Impact Payments website at this link, the IRS is working on a "Get My Payment" website for those people who did file a tax return, but did not provide their bank account information with that tax return, to provide that banking information to the IRS for purposes of the stimulus payment.

Yep that's who their talking about (the TPG'S) Santa Barbara?

That IRS note is aiming directly at SBTG's nasty little "F em all" memo from yesterday.

It's Almost too perfect. And why diss Green dot on Wal-Mart card? Deeming the nation's biggest retailers prepaid debit cards to be Bullsh$+???

Who's getting a Wal-Mart card after that?

Something about that note is Corporately OFF .   Is it just me?  That girls should have scratched out her WHOLE name. Cuz whatever the rest of it is there Ain't but ONE if someone she works with sees it

Exactly!!! I was on hold for 40 mins to ask about the tt card. The rep said whatever account info is on your 1040 is where your money will go. She said the tt cards are through green dot bank. Santa Barbara bank has nothing to do with your tt card. She said they use Santa Barbara Bank for advanced refunds and fees. And asked me where am i getting my info from? I had to laugh. I told her tt community feed. She said don't believe everything you read. Everyone wants to be an expert. So im confident the money will go on our cards. My fiancee got his on his netspend card, so did to of my friends. Two of my friends with chime got theirs to. And they not finished. Checks are still flowing out. Just have to be patient. I believe what the rep from tt told me. And thats that. No need to worry guys the money will be on your cards. Dont let these wanna be experts sway you.

In OUR case (TTcard nation! )  We recvd dir dep from the IRS already, so the irs already HAS put dir dep info. So, the part about holding banks HAVING TO HAND OVER the Account info is Technically, Literally, Incorrect.

It MAY apply to those special situations of complexities regarding the Mashup of Temporary prepaid debit cards issued by TAX preparers (evidently some of which have been issued by SBTG completely independent of SBTG's role for TurboTax) for Tax advances etc... A scenario I Theorized yesterday on here.

That funny note, is saying to THEM - Hand it over you Unamerican Ebenezer scrooge son of a 🐺👏

Tax Year Prior to 2020: Turbo Card and Coronavirus Stimulus

Tax Year Prior to 2020: Turbo Card and Coronavirus Stimulus

All of you need to stop complaining. I’m 20 years old. I don’t know much about life right now. But what I can tell from everybody on this forum is that y’all lack an emergency fund. These times are what it’s for. Everyone will get there money

Tax Year Prior to 2020: Turbo Card and Coronavirus Stimulus

U have to understand why people are tripping right we have filed our taxes with you guys we take your offer on the card and we have to wait for this and that while people who decided to wait till the last min to file there taxes or have never fueled taxes get there money and this has been planned for weeks and every other prepaid company already got there info and or got there money and all turbo tax can say we don’t know ? But we suppose to stay calm right while some of us get put out our house or lights get cut off or what not? Now if it was affecting your company in some way you would be on it that’s why y’all a a lawsuit going on now

Tax Year Prior to 2020: Turbo Card and Coronavirus Stimulus

In my opinion and this is just my opinion, I feel if we couldn't get them on our cards the IRS more than likely would have made a statement. IDC if anyone agrees with what I say that's my opinion and I'm not asking for agreement. I have looked over my tax papers many time and nothing says any other bank numbers temporary or not, the only one on there was the one that exactly matches my direct deposit numbers on my turbo card account...again just my opinion.
