TTH&B2019 will not import from Quicken,Home,Business,Rental 2019

I can't seem to get Turbo Tax Home and Business 2019 to see or open the Quicken H&B 2019 .QDF file even though I also try "Browse Files" and point right to the open file.

After a moment I get "Please Be sure that Quicken is running and a valid file has been selected before trying to use Quicken import."

Rather obvious the Quicken .QDF is "valid" , it is the one I am using inside Quicken at the moment.

Help PLEASE!

I confirmed that this is also the case with the 2020 version of both software. You must let Turbotax open the quicken file for the import to work. If the Quicken file is already running you will get the message to make sure that quicken file is open and it just switches to the open quicken file and then does not do anything. However, if you close the quicken file and then let turbo tax open the file it works.

TTH&B2019 will not import from Quicken,Home,Business,Rental 2019

On a whim, I decided to NOT open Quicken H&B

Viola! Turbo Tax opened Quicken on its own then imported everything neatly.

Seems that in the past 20 years that I HAD to have Quicken H&B OPEN and then TT did the import.

Maybe Intuit should put me on the Beta Test Line.
