Tax returned received. Do I need to file Form 8822 for change of address?

Hello Sir or Madam,
I already filed and received tax return of year 2023. I will move to a new address (but at SAME county, SAME state as my old address). I have some questions. Please help. Thanks.
1. Do I need to file Form 8822 for change of address with IRS?
1.1. If yes, in form 8822, it lists "Check all boxes this change affects:". First item is "Individual income tax returns". I assume that I should NOT check it as my tax return is already received. Correct?

2. How can I update my new address with turbotax?

Best regards,

Renee

Yes, if the 2023 return you just filed has your old address, you should file Form 8822 to update your address with the Internal Revenue Service.

You should check the box for "Individual income tax returns". The purpose of this question is to find out where they should mail you a letter about your individual income tax return should they need to before your next tax filing.

You can update your address in your Intuit account. Here's how to do that:

  1. Sign in to your TurboTax account.
  2. Select Intuit Account in the lower left of the TurboTax page.
  3. Select Change Address under Quick actions on the right.
  4. Enter your new address and select Save.
