How do you as a beneficiary report a taxable distribution from an estate, when you will not be receiving a K-1 from the estate and your name and SSN are not on the 1099-Rs the estate received? However, you do know the amount of taxable income for your portion of the 1099-Rs.

Why will you not be receiving a K-1 from the estate if the 1099-R had been issued to the estate in its name and tax ID number?
Have you contacted the executor or administrator of the estate?
