I filed my income tax back in April 17 and a message appeared that I would get my refund by May 8.  I just got my half of my refund more than 3 months later.   What should I do???

It sounds as if you had an offset to your refund. The IRS will generally send a letter to explain why your refund was reduced. However, if you don't receive a notice you can contact the BFS (Bureau of the Fiscal Service) at their call center 800-304-3107.
