It can be very frustrating when you're waiting for Turbo-Tax to respond. So far this year I haven't needed help, but I have every previous year.
So, first I'd suggest requesting the verification code again. Maybe it didn't go through. That shouldn't take a long time.
If that doesn't help, look for the phone number that takes you to a Help Center. Sorry, I don't remember where it is to quickly direct you and it may take you to a different page.
I've had to wait lengths of time for a call back before, too, but it's because they're busy helping others. Good luck.
