My friend filed with hnr block last year and filed with turbo tax this year. But they are requesting last year's agi which she has to pay hnr to get a copy of. She doesn't have the money to get a copy

H and R Block should have / was required to provide a copy of the filed return and all documents used to prepare the return to your friend.  Check with the H and R Block location manager where the return was prepared.  Explain the circumstances.  H and R Block is required to maintain returns and supporting documents for 3 years.  

Your friend can also go to IRS.gov and create an account for free and obtain the following information from last years filed return:

• Key information from your current tax year return as originally filed.
