Re: Locality name

On my W2 on box20 it says locality name NYLOC. I get an error message saying its not accepted. I didnt get it last year on my 2020 tax return when filing with the same Box20. Is there an issue? Thanks

You will need to enter NYC, even though your W2 has NYLOC in that entry field. The two entries mean the same thing, and TurboTax requires NYC.

If I had to pay is state taxes after a amended return, how can I have this reflected in my "summary of state and local tax refunds" since the value must be "at least 0"
