Loading from CD

Turbo Tax won't load. I get two errors, can't find these files.

MSVCP140.dll

VCRUNTIME140.dll

I've verified they are in Windows/System32 directory.

If you have tried reinstalling TurboTax from the CD without success, you may wish to use a download file instead. Follow the instructions for "How to switch between...a CD or download" from this article: How do I download my software from TurboTax.com?

No need to download software. Install Visual Studio 2015 redistributable package, like many many help links already instruct you, but trick is to install x86 version even if your computer is x64. No need to reboot.
Redistributable version needs to match bit-ness (32 or 64) of software being installed (TurboTax 2023) and not version of your OS.

That worked  was able to load CD.  X86 Vversion.

Turbo Tax needs to issue a procedure change.
