Is there a deadline for the IRS processing refunds?

It says throughout the summer… is there any truth to this?

Yes! There are people still receiving their additional refunds, and the summer doesn't end until September 22nd. I also have a feeling that if they haven't processed all the refunds, they could continue sending them out into the fall. If you are due a refund, don't give up hope and try to stay patient!
