IND-517-01

Hello. I purchased this TurboTax and not getting proper support. I am disappointed. My return is keep getting rejected with this error IND-517-01. I have verified SSN for all my dependents and resubmitted number of time but it is keep getting rejected. I need assistance ASAP as the tax is due tomorrow. Please let me know how to contact or fix my issue.

IND-517-01

The IRS's database indicates that your dependent's SSN has already been used on a 2019 return, as the primary taxpayer or spouse on that return.  Once that's occurred, the IRS won't accept another e-filed return with that SSN, giving rise to the need for a mailed return.

I am dealing with the same issue and error.  I have confirmed my dependents information is correct.  One of my daughters has indeed filed an individual return and has correctly indicated that someone else will claim her as a dependent.  Yet I am still getting the error and having the return rejected.  What gives?  My other dependent did not even file a return.  The daughter that did so used TurboTax online.
