Generally, you are self-employed if any of the following apply to you.

• You carry on a trade or business as a sole proprietor or an independent contractor.
• You are a member of a partnership that carries on a trade or business.
• You are otherwise in business for yourself (including a part-time business)

If you were not self employment in 2020, follow the steps to delete the self employment section:

• Log in to your account.
• Select  Federal  from the left menu.
• Go to Wages and Income then select Income and Expenses.
• Click Review next to Self-employment income and expenses
• Select the trash can icon next to your line of work
