You will need to log into or if you haven't yet create an IRS login account using ID me you'll need a telephone and email to create an account after doing so you will be able to view your account transcripts from previous years you have filed I suggest you review specifically your account transcripts if they are available to see what numbers were generated such as your refund amount and dependent info do not confuse your IRS cycle processing date with the actual refund deposit date that information will be specifically detailed under the code 846 next to your refund amount when the IRS is done processing your file
Turbo tax rep told me over the phone today that they don’t get updates on statuses. But I asked her when turbo tax usually takes the payment for services out of our refund and she said the payment is only processed usually after irs approved refund and are in process of issuing payment. Who knows though.
They need to explain these emails than. Like why even send them of its not even approved yet. Makes no sense
It's not right
Everyone has a cycle date on their transcripts. It generally stays the same every year. Depending on what the ending number is on your cycle code will tell you when the info gets updated. Whether thats daily or weekly. That is the MOST accurate info of your return despite what WMR says or Turbo Tax. You have to go by your account transcripts on IRS website. 846 is the code your looking for that will tell you your actual deposit date. If u dont see that then it hasnt been approved yet. Mine always come on Thursdays for example. Any info on how to read the scripts can use google. Must have an ID.ME account as well. Hope that helps
I got the same email does anyone know if it means any progress has been made
I have the same email today but when I checked on irs I don’t see any changes
Holy crap a lot of people clearly don’t budget or save well lmao. It’s an email just updating you that it’s being processed. They don’t know an exact date only the IRS does lol. If y’all so pressed about the email maybe start budgeting better instead of going crazy over an email for your tax return that will take 21 days max if you have no issues come up. If you got the email about it being accepted already then just set your mind on 21 business days and forget about it.
Since they offer 5 day early deposit for a fee, they would have to know when the direct deposit would arrive. Curious to know if the others that got the letter used the 5 day early promo.
I got that message n I did select the 5 day early option
Yeah I was confused because although mine somehow got accepted early af with TurboTax this year 1.17.25 I also have EITC SND CTC so it’s all saying March 3rd but I also did the 5 days early which if I’m BD would be Feb 7th so …. It’s like hard to really narrow down anything anymore 😫
Panda, were on here to help each other. U have said NOTHING helpful nor positive. Why are u even on this thread? Worry bout your finances and not everyone else on here. And to the person who was curious about who got the 5 day advance, I paid for that as well. Turbo tax rep told me the email was to inform us that the refund was processed and on its way. Just hasn't been released yet.
Who tf r u talking to ???
I filed on the 17th and they given me a date for February 11th. I already received my state taxes on the 31st and yesterday received an e-mail saying “Congratulations! Your refund is on the way—and it’s backed by our max refund. See when it will arrive.” So, does that mean I’ll receive my refund sooner than the 11th?
March 3rd is such a pushed out date. Hopefully you get them sooner.
@Panda03xx Well some people don't make enough to budget their money. So that comment was rude.
