Yes, I started from Fidelity site and used that link.
I used this method from Turbotax 2017 and no problem until now.
After entering basic information, it proceeded to payment.
It shows $0 and I proceeded it.
That's why Federal tax part is free.
I don't know why state tax part was not processed at the same time.
I added other tax information one by one and when I print pdf file, it does not show state tax in pdf.
Only preview was available.
It said CA tax document is not ready yet.
So, I keep adding other tax information.
When I finished addition, it passed review and file stage.
At this time, it requires to pay $59 for CA tax.
This is the not the original agreement of Fidelity and turbotax.
I retried multiple time with Fidelity's link and finally got $0 payment for CA tax.
Somehow, it was solved.
I think it should be free for both Federal and State tax including e-filing for Fidelity's Active trader tier customer.
I received this benefit from 2017.
Somehow, CA tax document was not ready when I first purchase it and after it is available Turbotax think I'm the general user.
If I use the general link, Federal tax cannot be free.
I also called with your representative over the phone.
She did not have enough information about it.
Federal tax is free means I used Fidelity's active trader link properly.
Nobody understands about this fact.
Also, you may not have $0 payment information.
Representative only listed up for over $0 payment.
If you can check $0 payment, it would be easier to check what is going on.
