I thought turbotax doesnt charge

TurboTax Free Edition is free as long as it is a simple return that files a 1040 with no additional schedules or upgrades. Please see below for more information and instructions on how to remove unwanted charges or add-ons.

I thought turbotax doesnt charge

If there is a state return involved the state may charge for filing & then TurboTax will charge the filer.
