If you have no taxable income you have nothing to enter on a tax return. Welfare and/or public assistance does not get entered on a tax return, nor does your housing. If you cannot be claimed as someone else's dependent then you can file a tax return in order to seek the recovery rebate credit in Federal Review----if you did NOT already receive the stimulus check(s). Or...if you have dependent children you can file a 2021 return to get the child tax credit. You can enter a $1 of interest so that you can e-file the tax return, and use "zero" as your AGI. If someone else can claim you as a dependent, then you are not eligible for the recovery rebate credit or the child tax credit.
