I paid for online in 2018 then had to finish by downloading the program and paid twice. How do I get a refund?

I doubt you will get a refund based as TurboTax cares more about their bottom line than customer experience. I bought their 2019 PC Download version but my computer crashed before i could submit my taxes. I thought i would simply get a request for a Mac copy (still one software license) as i paid for 2019 software, and complete my taxes. Their rules are rigid and they really don't care about customers. You can go to Costco and buy the DVD version that has both PC and Mac software for literally the same price, but who has a DVD player in their machine these days. TurboTax is still stuck in the dinosaur age of DVD software that supports both platforms but you cannot download it online to install on Windows or Mac (still one license copy). Good to have other tax software options to consider. I have posted my crappy interaction on FB to let my friends know as well.
