I need to make a change to my Alternative Minimum Tax calculation but cannot seem to access the proper form to do that in my ongoing 2024 tax return.

there is a negative figure showing up in the incoming AMT and I need to change it.

If you're using TurboTax Desktop, in FORMS mode, type 8582 in the Search area under Open Forms.

You'll see that you may have several sources of AMT calculations. Double-click on the form you want to review and open the form.

Right-click on the amount in question, and you may get a magnifying glass to take you to the source of the entry, which may be where you want to make your correction. You may also get a link for 'Data Source' with more information.

At the top of some forms is a 'Quick Zoom' button that takes you to other related forms. Let us know if you need more help, or you can also Contact TurboTax Support.
