Yes but technically the date for payment was actually April 15th, so you may be incurring a penalty.

May 17th is the deadline for filing and for payment. You will begin incurring interest charges after May 17th. There is no penalty unless you do not file by the 17th.

if it is postmarked today you will be ok

Take it to the Post Office desk and watch them stamp it.
