I have not just got the message. And yes I did do the steps and still nothing. I did not import my w2's and put them in manually.
yes. I have been getting same message. Imported one of two w2 forms. When I try to file I get same error. I have gone back and entered info manually about 15 time and still got the same transmission error. Have been on phone with techs for two days. Their response was to download chrome instead of using Microsoft edge and do taxes from the start over again. R U Kidding me??? Not happy and thinking about filing with HR block. This is Crazy.
While the attached TTax Help message appears to refer to imported W-2 returns it may be worthwhile try deleting the information for your W-2s and re-enter the information.
In addition please note the cautionary note at the beginning of the message.
I've had the same issue. Went back deleted all forms and manually put in all w2's. Still same problem. Called for help. Was told the IRS stopped transmissions due to a glitch...Was told I had to wait till the 30th to file. I asked if it was a turbo tax glitch or a irs glitch. No real answer... I've Never had a problem with this and it's frustrating.
i used chrome and had the same issue..
