How to stop automatic updates to 2020 CD version software Home & Business?

Hi, I'm running 2020 CD software Home & Business. Windows 10 (!)

When I installed the software to PC, an installation box on install screen stated that Updates would install automatically upon opening the software. It also said I could change this procedure at online site under Preferences. I don't see where though.

I really prefer to choose when Updates occur.

Reminder: I am not using the online version of 2020 Turbo. I'm using my own installed software.

open the app

you'll see a tab labeled online

under that tab is a link for updater preferences

Hello Mike,

That is great. I never noticed that top line on front page. Thank you!

Believe, I would not miss these updates ever. It's just to have control when they occur, and not hold up my computer.

It's annoying enough that my new upgrade to Windows 10 won't offer that choice, to select when to allow Windows Updates. You don't even know when they occur since it's so hidden. Need to remember to look once in a while at that other page with list of all updates.
