You can delete the 1095-A.
The 1095-C is informational only as proof of health coverage. Keep your copy with your tax file, but you needn't enter it anywhere. It is not reported on a tax return.
Steps to Delete a Form:
Sign in to your online account
Continue working on your return
Click Tax Tools on the left side bar
Click Tools on the drop-down
Click "Delete a form" on the “Tools Center” screen
Scroll down the list and find 1095-A then click Delete
Confirm the delete
I tried this. There is not a specific 1095-A form removal option so I deleted the whole insurance section and put that I have private insurance but after putting my private insurance in, it still wants me to fill out the 1095-A. I tried to clear the whole thing and start over but it also told me I cannot do that.
@Steadfast09 You may try revisiting the healthcare section of your return and make any changes that way. Under Federal, select Deductions & Credits; where you see Medical, click start/revisit next to whatever information you would like to edit.
