Tax Year Prior to 2020: How do I change my spouse's phone number in the personal information worksheet? The suggestions related to my Intuit account only provide the ability to change my own.

Please follow these instructions to make changes to your wife's Information:

1. Login to your TurboTax Account 
2. Click "Take Me To My Return"
3. Click "My Info" from the left side of your screen
4. Scroll down to the area you wish to edit.

I looked there as well, but don't see any field to enter her phone number.

Go back to the personal information section of your return.This should be the first set of questions asked. There is an "edit" button for you to change the information. You can edit your spouse's personal information in TurboTax by taking the following steps:

• In your return, select "Personal Info"
• On "Personal Info Summary" page you will see your personal details listed 
• Click on "Edit" button to the right of your spouse's personal details
• On "Your personal info" screen, change your spouse's information as needed, and click on Continue button
• You will be returned to the "Personal Info Summary" page

Thank you, but there is no field for my wife's phone number in the personal info section.  I can set birthday and social security, etc.  However, not phone number.

There is only a field for the person preparing the taxes to input a telephone number. The return doesn't require a number for your spouse.

To continue with the previous post, the spouse phone number may not be required, but it is printing incorrectly on the VA760 from earlier returns.  Yet there is no place on the edit spouse information screen to update it.  

Please take a minute to look closer at the concerns raised and answer with some clarity instead of simply saying it doesn't exist!

1) Switch to Forms Mode...

2) Open the "Personal Wks" and edit/change it there (as many PersonalWks's as you have in your tax file). 

3) still wrong?...open the "Info Wks". You can't change the first one in PART I....but in PART II there is also a Home Phone field with a tan/yellow background
