Because this form is not available until 2/20/2020.  Please see our updates here: IRS tax forms available

The forms are available if you are going to download from the IRS to complete it on your own.  However, e-filing is different.  Once the form is finalized by the IRS, it has to be coded into the special language the software uses and has to be thoroughly tested for calculations and e-filing acceptability.  IRS then has to approve it for e-file.  It always takes a little longer for a form to become available for e-file in a software program.  I hope this helps you understand the situation.

Hey i am having the same problem the form 8615 keeps showing up but I do not qualify for all of the things listed on there so I dont know why it keeps showing up and it will not let me fill my taxes. It keeps pushing the date back further and further for me to file them and I need help to get ride of it so i can file. Each month it sets a date and which it reaches that date to file it pushes back to a different one.

Why does this form keep changing availability date?  First told February 22, then March 1, now March 5.  I owe so I want to file already.  When is the true date of availability?

The IRS has to finalize and approve the form for e-filing before the form is available on TurboTax. Form 8615 is expected to be available on 03/05/2020.

Enough with the canned responses!! I need the **bleep** form. The availability date has changed at least 7 times since I have been trying to file the taxes. This is absurd. The culpability lies squarely with Turbo Tax. Are any of us going to get refunds for not being able to file taxes in a timely manner?
