Did anyone get a credit for all these issues? I seen somewhere turbo tax gave $50 off for all these problems.

I got it to work. I ended up deleting and redoing it and it worked.

It's on the right hand upper corner of the Turbotax app. You can also see the icons "Flags" and "Notifications"

You can only see that, when you open your rejected tax return.  Good Luck!

That's not so accurate, because I am using the online downloaded version. Its on the right hand upper corner,

besides the icons "Flags" and "Notifications"

My bad....online version is different to the downloaded one. That's why I don't use online version

while doing taxes, it has limited features access. 😅

We received the FDI_8962_DepLine2BEm error message and our return was rejected by the IRS.  Instead of waiting, we went to the form 8962 in Turbotax and manually entered a Zero in line 2B.  We resubmitted our return and it was accepted about 2 hours later.  Just be sure to confirm that line 2B should in fact be Zero for your return by reading the line 2B description.  To make the change, log into Turbotax, use the menu option on the upper-right "Forms", scroll through the list of forms and select 8962.  Then simple enter a Zero on line 2B, save your return, and resubmit to the IRS.

Thanks I will try that since I called turbo tax and they would not help me unless i upgraded and paid 50.00

I had the same error and waited a few days.

Today, I deleted all answers and completed the form.

The return was accepted right after a re-submitted.

The only change I made was instead a just "MO" for state, it pre populated "MO - Missouri".

I don't know if that held up the return, but it's worth a try.  They let you e-file up to 5 times before it has to be mailed. Good luck!

Any updates on this???? I’m still not seeing any updated questions. Don’t want to re-file just to have it rejected again.

TurboTax has released an update to Form 8962.  Follow these steps to insure that TurboTax is using the updated Form 8962. 

  • Clear your browser's cookies and cache 

  • Delete Form 8962  

  • Enter your  information on Form 1095-A

FYI everyone, I've had same issue, too, and also no luck from TT support.  HOWEVER, I did call the IRS, and they had not received any tax submission from me at all.  They showed no rejection, b/c they showed no submission, though I did efile twice with TT.  So I dunno what's going on.  Very frustrating.

Has anyone successfully filed their returns yet in regards to the 1095a update? I am still not getting any new interview questions and when I called cs they had no idea what I was talking about or what to tell me. The guy said just wait another week.

Has anyone that got accepted on Feb 22 after the update 1095A trouble gotten APPROVED and/or a return date from IRS yet?

I had my return accepted on 2/20 after resubmitting but so far do not have an update from IRS with an approval or deposit date.
