What changed is the form this year is not the same as last year on here. Wait till 2-22-20 to try again after the new form is uploaded.

@amandajeremey1178 update for you: it just got rejected, less than five hours after I re-filed. At least I didn't have to wait 5 days in wonder. When I go back to TT and click the "fix it now" button, I see the same sort of message as before, with no new questions available yet. So I will wait and revisit later when the updates are actually ready.
I called turbo tax this morning. He said it was a problem with the IRS, so I called the IRS and he said no, this is a problem with turbo tax, that I needed to call TT back. So I called TT and the lady that I spoke with wasn’t aware of this type of problem or update. So after she chatted with someone she said go ahead and refill since it say February 20th. I hated to refile because last time it took days to reject, BUT, this time it rejected it within a couple hours. So now I’m back to square one. When is this update happening?? I’ve never had issues in the last few years I’ve filed with TT.
Question 2 was there the first time as well. Yours will be rejected again because the new update hasn't happened.
This may or may not work, but if I select the box beside interview question about dependants filling sep. tax return it brings up box to enter dependent agi. that should be line 2b. so I can enter 0 and that should fix the problem with line 2b being blank. I'm going to try it and if it works I'll share. be back in a few days!
@pmoney Thanks for the update. Im glad you didnt have to wait 5 days! i swear those were the longest 5 days of my life! :(
We got the same rejection reason and It’s the 20th and NOTHING has been updated or added for me to even go in an answer. I contacted TT and got absolutely no help saying they can’t give me advice and sent me to the tax expert which they wanted me to pay for. It’s simple either it’s updated or it’s not. They SHOULD have these answers. They have NO answers.
Turbo Tax needs to give a partial refund and actually email filers when the update is live. This is not cool to not email users that have had the error about a fix. Its not even mentioned anywhere on the site.
@lilliew81 seems that people are getting their rejection notices super fast this time, so definitely let us know if it works!
I re filed too and didn’t notice anything different.... As I did I was like.. No!! Ugh. I guess I’ll get another rejection. Hopefully it will come fast like it did for others this time.
I had the same reject code on my return. I went ahead and refiled this morning after going through it again and TT saying everything looked good but it was rejected a 2nd time so the question is still missing apparently. I’ll recheck tomorrow and hopefully they’ll have the updated question.
I answered the same questions. There was nothing new.
I refiled during business hours and was rejected. Not happy & now reading they aren’t sure when the update will be completed not ok
