I just noticed my 2023 taxes included my first estimated taxes vouchers for federal. I owe federal 7k and got back 7k from my state. Is there a way to change my withholding or something so I don’t have to pay estimated taxes?
Also, I accidentally e-filed my taxes and did not include the $10k 529 college savings. Is there a way to amend it? Never amended a tax return before. Do I amend only my state or federal as well?
Thanks

just wanted to bump this question thanks.
The only way to avoid having to pay estimated taxes is to have additional taxes withheld from your wages, pension, social security or other source of income, to the extent it is available.
If you mean you contributed money to a code 529 college savings plan, a deduction is not available for that on your federal return and also not on most state returns. You may want to research the deductibility of the plan for your state, and if none is available, then you don't need to prepare the amended return.
If it is deductible on your state return, you will see an option to prepare an amended return on your home page once logged into TurboTax. You would only need to amend the state return.
